We use the survey data to tell elected leaders, city administrators, and judges exactly how the abandoned viaduct construction is affecting our safety, quality of life, access to medical care, and more.
We’ve heard from hundreds of residents already. The more people we hear from, the more impactful the data is.
Your personal information will be anonymized and kept confidential. No one outside of the Rescue Project will have access to it.

We’re a small community-based organization trying to move the big, slow wheels of government. That requires the hard work of volunteers – and money.

We’ve collected mailing addresses, online contact forms, and email addresses for our community’s elected leaders and city administrators. It’s their job to listen to us – let them know that the abandoned viaduct is unsafe and unacceptable!
Each of these officials have staff whose job is to document the concerns of constituents and the number of incoming calls, emails and letters related to those concerns.
Every letter, phone call and email counts. Suggested scripts are provided.
Use the 311 app, website, or phone number to report unsafe conditions, accessibility problems and anything else unsafe and unacceptable related to the Viaduct construction. Taking photos helps, if you feel safe doing so.
Calling 311 usually doesn’t get the issue resolved, but it does create a record of the issues that DOT can’t erase. And a record like that is a powerful tool for us and the elected leaders who are working with us.
And sometimes calling 311 has resolved a specific problem, so you never know. (Please note that we’ve had better results if we provide our name and phone number when filing a report, but you don’t have to.)
