A member of the Riverside Viaduct Rescue Project called the Brian Lehrer show on WNYC when Manhattan Borough President Hoylman-Sigal was on the air. She took him about our situation and he promised to follow up with her. He did, and then, after seeing one of our “Zohran Please Help Us” signs hanging from the abandoned work zone, arranged a site visit with our city councilman Shaun Abreu.
It’s just one of the many things we’re doing to call attention to our situation, and apply pressure on elected leaders and city administrators. And sometimes we even get things done from the comfort of our homes, listening to WYNC.
